Ido Frizler holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Talpiot Computer Science program, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with a specialization in computer communications. Ido has nearly two decades of experience in the fields of information security and computer networking, and has worked as part of the national defense establishment, startups, and large organizations.
For the past six years, he has managed the global development group for cloud networking security at Microsoft (Azure Networking Security). His team is responsible for the development of network security products (including firewalls and DDoS attack prevention), security research and vulnerability discovery across Microsoft’s cloud products, and the security of Microsoft’s physical network infrastructure, which serves as the foundation for Microsoft’s cloud network—one of the largest in the world.
He is a member of the executive management team of the organization responsible for Microsoft’s network infrastructure and leads the organization’s AI-driven innovation initiatives.
