Dr. Hadassa Daltrophe holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Communication Systems Engineering. She is a Senior Lecturer and researcher in the Department of Software Engineering at Sami Shamoon College of Engineering (SCE).
Her research focuses on distributed systems and artificial intelligence, and in recent years she has also been active in social media analysis in general, and social media regulation in particular. As a lecturer, she heads the Communication Systems and Cyber track and teaches academic courses in algorithmics and computer networks. Dr. Daltrophe delivers volunteer lectures aimed at encouraging young people—particularly girls—to pursue careers in STEM, in Arad, Be’er Sheva, and Ashdod, and has served as a mentor in the Ministry of Education’s artificial intelligence program.
