Data & Statistics Publications

Fact-based information is the lifeblood of informed individual and collective decision-making. It provides the raw material from which societies can shape clear understanding, identify problems, and craft effective responses. Over the past years, ISOC-IL has documented a wave of transformative upheavals in technology and communication, along with growing disparities between the diverse groups that make up Israeli society. 

ISOC-IL’s research and data repository explore the distinct differences in how each segment of society engages online, addressing key questions like: What sets apart the experiences of Israeli Arabs, Haredim (Ultra-Orthodox), Russian speakers, senior citizens, adolescents, and other unique communities? What specific challenges and phenomena shape each group’s digital experiences? We are committed to capturing and presenting the Israeli population’s internet experience with respect and sincerity. By understanding and embracing the diverse experiences and perspectives across our society, we enable informed decisions that drive meaningful progress for all.

The DATA.ISOC.ORG.IL repository is an open platform providing access to datasets and quantitative studies that assess various aspects of the Israeli internet and its users. It features original ISOC-IL research as well as numerous other data sources. DATA.ISOC.ORG.IL offers impartial information to the public, aiming not only to inform decision-makers but also to foster deeper understanding among individuals, communities and society as a whole.

At ISOC-IL, we believe that a solid foundation of information and statistics is essential for shaping constructive, forward-thinking public policy and discourse.
