To ensure that our online safety and digital resilience resources are accessible to all communities we serve, the Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL) has launched Arabic-language channels on Facebook and Instagram.
For a large part of Israel’s Arab sector, which comprises approximately 20% of the country’s population, access to information in Arabic is essential for meaningful connectivity and safer participation online. Yet information linguistically and culturally tailored to Arab society in Israel often remains difficult to access. These new channels will provide trusted updates and online guides focused on online safety, digital literacy, and digital resilience, while also highlighting ISOC-IL’s extensive efforts to bridge digital gaps in Arab society. This includes ISOC-IL initiatives led with the support of the Arab Forum for Digital Inclusion in Israel, most notably the annual Webna Conference on Digital Issues and Advancement in Arab Society, thereby expanding the reach and impact of these important activities.
