Job Opening: Reporting and Monitoring Administrator for EU-Supported Project on Disinformation Resilience in Israel

The Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL), the leading organization promoting a free, open, and secure internet in Israel, is seeking a Reporting and Monitoring Administrator for our innovative EU-supported project aimed at building disinformation resilience in Israel. This project is designed to enhance the ability of Israeli citizens, media outlets, and civil society organizations to identify, counter, and build resilience against online misinformation and disinformation.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in this high-impact international project and serve as the primary liaison for reporting to the European Union and other international professional bodies. At ISOC-IL, we are deeply committed to combating the spread of disinformation and its potential harm to democratic discourse and social cohesion. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to this critical mission and help shape Israel’s response to one of the most pressing challenges of the digital age.

Start date and Duration: Starting immediately in September 2024, for a period of 12-18 months.

Scope and Work Hours: Approximately 90 hours per month (50% position). Remote work with weekly online meetings

Responsibilities: Collect data and information from the program team; Coordinate project activities and communicate with the professional team; Prepare comprehensive and accurate reports for the European Union on the project activities and outputs; Ensure compliance with EU reporting standards and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Native-level English reading and writing skills (including the ability to write professional reports for international research institutions)
  • High-level Hebrew proficiency
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, including time management, punctuality, and attention to detail
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree or near completion with honors in relevant fields (Social Sciences, Humanities, International Relations, Management, Communications, Law, etc.)
  • Previous experience in foreign relations, resource development in the public sector, or NGOs and civil society organizations – significant advantage
