About the Role
ISOC-IL is seeking a skilled IT and DevOps Specialist to join our infrastructure and operations team.
This position involves hands-on work with virtualization, storage, and automation systems that form the backbone of Israel’s internet infrastructure.
We’re looking for a professional with a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for stability, scalability, and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, troubleshoot virtualization, docker and storage systems.
- Configure and maintain system monitoring for performance, availability, and security.
- Write and troubleshoot shell and python scripts.
- Write and troubleshoot yaml for ansible playbooks, docker compose etc.
- Design, Install, configure, and maintain systems in Linux Environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a system administrator.
- Proven experience in managing virtual environments. (Vmware/HyperV/Nutanix/KVM).
- Proven experience in managing monitoring systems (Zabbix – advantage).
- Proven experience managing storage systems (NetApp – advantage).
- Knowledge and Experience in scripting (Bash/PowerShell/Python etc).
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Linux servers – advantage.
- Experience with micro services (docker/podman/k8s) – advantage.
- Experience or familiarity with Infrastructure as code (Ansible/Terraform) – advantage.
- Experience in managing network and security devices – advantage.
- Courses in system, networking, information security, and DevOps – strong advantage.
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field – advantage.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
