An open call issued within the “Developing a Comprehensive Response to Online Misinformation and Disinformation in Israel” (DRI) project, led by ISOC-IL with support from the European Union offers a competitive grant of ILS 50,000 for a data-based research or project that makes a practical contribution to improve Israeli society’s understanding of and response to disinformation.
The grant aims to support a research initiative with practical applications in the short and intermediate term, empirical data-based studies, and developments of methodologies to respond to disinformation and its societal impact. Priority will be given to multi-disciplinary initiatives focusing on improving social resilience to disinformation, combining technology, social sciences, communications, public policy, law, political science, and other related fields.
