We are excited to share that the Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL) was recently invited to collaborate with the National Cyber Directorate on an essential new training program aimed at enhancing cyber defense capabilities. The National Cyber Directorate’s 119 center operates 24/7, staffed by analysts whose role is to identify and classify cyber threats, assess their potential damage, and provide tailored responses for individuals and organizations. To support these efforts, ISOC-IL assisted in developing a specialized training program to equip 119’s analysts with the skills for conducting preliminary investigations and documenting incidents within their organizational systems.
Yonatan Ben-Horin, Manager of ISOC-IL’s Internet Safety Hotline, was invited by the Directorate to discuss ISOC-IL’s work in online safety. He presented the operational tools and strategies employed by the Internet Safety Hotline, which plays a key role in the trust and safety field as a trusted flagger for platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and Snapchat; the BLOCK-Cyber Protection Center for Individuals and Small Businesses; and discussed ISOC-IL’s long-standing collaboration with the National Cyber Directorate. This joint effort further deepens our shared mission with the National Cyber Directorate to create a safer and more secure digital environment for all.
