The Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL) operates the Internet Safety Hotline and the Block Civilian Cyber Security Platform, to provide Israeli internet users with assistance, guidance, information and tools to prevent and handle a wide range of online abuses and threats.
The Internet Safety Hotline is a first responder to hundreds of monthly requests for assistance and support, and is recognized as a trusted partner and flagger by the leading social media platforms, web hosting services and URL shorteners, reporting to them directly about instances of abuse and offensive, malicious and illegal content, activities and actors online in Israel.
Though we are an independent, non-governmental entity, in relevant cases we collaborate with Israel’s National Cyber Directorate and the Online Child Protection Bureau, exchanging valuable information that enhances and expedites the emergency response to victims of online abuse.
The Israel Internet Association is an independent NGO and provides general information and guidance to the general public. The organization is not a legal or law enforcement organization and does not assist with investigation or prosecution. We offer preliminary consultation, report problematic content to online platforms and services, and direct users to the appropriate resources and organizations that can help them.
