The public participation website launches on April 18, 2021
Israel Internet Association (ISOC-IL) invites you to take part in shaping Israel’s national top-level domain (TLD): “.ישראל”
This ccTLD will operate in addition to the existing .il suffix as Israel joins several other countries whose official national language is written in non-Latin letters and offer use of domain names in their national script throughout the World Wide Web.
However, establishing the new Hebrew TLD alongside the “.il” suffix raises several questions about its design and operational model.
The public participation process begins on April 18, 2021, via a dedicated website designed for this purpose, allowing us to share the information and ensure transparency.
