We work to bridge the digital divide by promoting fair and equal access to internet services, public digital tools, and essential online content. Our outreach focuses on populations with demonstrably low levels of digital orientation—including the Arab and Haredi sectors, senior citizens, people with disabilities, and other groups more vulnerable to online threats. Through targeted programs and partnerships, we work to ensure no one is left behind in Israel’s digital future. Our Internet Safety Hotline and BLOCK platform for civilian cybersecurity are flagship public services that provide real-time response to online threats, including harassment, abuse and malicious content. TheHotline processes hundreds of user reports each month and leverages its direct lines of communication with leading social networks, hosting providers, and content platforms to deliver swift, effective responses to online abuse–often addressing harms that platforms themselves are unable or unwilling to resolve.
Beyond their direct impact, the Hotline and BLOCK serve as a strategic resource for policy development. The reports we receive offer valuable real-time insights into emerging threats and harmful trends, enabling us to formulate evidence-based policy recommendations for decision-makers across sectors.
