Domains under the .il extension are registered through ISOC-IL’s Accredited Registrars. These registrars are private entities which have been certified upon fulfilling the technical, service and legal criteria required to register domain names. The domain name registration market in Israel is a free market, therefore ISOC-IL recommends comparing prices, services, terms and conditions prior to choosing a registrar. For further information, please read our Guide for Choosing a Registrar. Additionally, the Israel Internet Association serves as an authority for managing the public’s complaints regarding disputes with or misconduct of a registrar. To file a complaint against a registrar, please visit the Complaint Department page.
