The Israeli Chapter of the Internet Society is the registry of
Internet Domain Names under the ".il" national Top Level Domain (ccTLD).
The Domain Names Allocation Rules are in effect since January

Registration Rules, prior to submitting your request.
As from November 1st, 2016, ISOC-IL will stop the registration and direct management of domain names with the suffix .IL(excluding the SLD .k12.il, which ISOC-IL will continue to manage directly) . The registration activity as well as the management of the domain names currently executed directly by ISOC-IL will be fully transferred to the ISOC-IL's accredited registrars.

Registration of Domain Names under ".co.il" ,".org.il", muni.il, ac.il and net.il
is available via Accredited Registrars. Accredited Registrars are companies
or organizations which have been accredited by ISOC-IL after meeting
technological and service criteria.
Via an Accredited Registrar, Domain Names can be registered
and renewed for periods of one or two calendar years.
At any time, the management of a Domain Name can be
transferred from its current Managing Registrar to another Accredited
Registrar (to transfer the management of a Domain Name to a new registrar,
contact the new registrar).
There exists free competition among Accredited Registrars.
ISOC-IL recommends comparing between the Accredited Registrars and the
services offered by them, prior to choosing a particular one:
